can you tell if someone has back arthritis from x-rays and does it really feel like this? |
|||||
Question:
I've been having horrible back pain every morning when I wake up for the past 4 months. It's between my shoulder blades and feels like my back is on fire...My hips hurt, my legs hurt and even my feet hurt. I get out of bed moving very slow. After about 30 minutes of moving around, I feel normal. I went to the Doctor and he took x-rays. Now he says that I have arthritis in my back. Can you really tell that from x-rays? I thought that was a blood test . Is this REALLY what arthritis feels like? My dad had arthritis very badly. It forced him into early retirement and he couldn't even tie his shoes. I know it can be hereditary. He had rhuematoid arthritis, so will I get it? Answer: It sounds like you have arthritis. Please ask your family doctor to give you a referral to a Rheumatologist and find out for sure. The longer you wait to get real help, the harder it is for the doctor to help you. |
